The room was clean and comfortable. Owner seemed like a nice guy. Breakfast items ok for a small hotel. Edit: November 2023. Same as before, comfortable sleeping. The bathtub drain in room 24 was very slow. I informed the girl with the cleaning cart in the morning.

This was a great hotel! We were trapped in the storm that closed I 90 for 5 days and trying to divert it on highway 44 and got stuck in Platte. Fortunately, this hotel was there and pet friendly. They were so accommodating! Very, very clean rooms. Great channel choices on the television. Family friendly and dog friendly. We ended up going out and playing in the snow. We highly recommend this hotel!!!
Very well-kept motel! I stayed for 9 days while I was getting work done to my truck. The Owners of Dakota Country Inn is very nice people and do a great job keeping this establishment up. Very clean rooms, nice beds and the service is top notch. Highly recommended!
Room was very clean, beds were comfortable. The people running it were very friendly and nice. My only complaint was it said breakfast started at 6:30 AM. We wanted a little bite before we hit the road. Left there at 7 and no one around for breakfast. It was a Sunday, maybe overslept. In spite of that I would highly recommend the Dakota Inn.
We always stay here when in Platte. Very comfortable and really appreciate the extreme cleanliness of the rooms in the East wing.
We had air conditioning problems and called the hotel at 2am. Owner very kind and waited for our arrival. Room was spacious and very clean. Family ran, nice contential breakfast and will stay again if in town.
